Everything about August Burns Red totally explained

August Burns Red is a metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows around Lancaster. In 2004, the band was signed to CI Records and released an EP called Looks Fragile After All. After about another year of playing shows, the band was signed to Solid State Records in 2005 and released Thrill Seeker on November 8th of that year. Their latest album, Messengers, was released on June 19, 2007. It has sold over 45,000 copies thus far.
   August Burns Red is currently touring with As I Lay Dying.
   They will also be shooting a music video, for Backburner, at an upcoming show at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA on May 31st, 2008. They will be playing the show with Century, Circus! Circus!, and Ventriloquist. They are known for their "non hardcore" outlook and are seen wearing sandals onstage.
